Our iPad Scheme
Empowering every student to excel with the tools for 21st-century success
Our Philosophy
Chipping Campden School has worked with parents/carers to provide each student with a managed iPad for use in lessons and at home since 2018.
The school uses Jamf as a Mobile Device Management system (MDM) and Lightspeed for monitoring and filtering to ensure safe and easy deployment across all year groups.
The 1:1 iPad scheme is based on our 6 key values:
- Curiosity – Inspiring students and staff to explore new ideas, experiment with innovative tools, and ask questions that deepen their understanding of the digital world.
- Respect – To demonstrate safe and responsible online behaviours
- Inclusivity – providing accessible tools that empower everyone to participate fully in the digital landscape.
- Charity – A community supported scheme enabling all students to access valuable resources and learning opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
- Integrity – being honest about our sources, respecting privacy, and ensuring that our digital interactions reflect our true values.
- Tenacity – Inspiring students to persist through challenges, troubleshoot problems, and continuously seek innovative solutions in their digital projects
Providing every student with their own digital device has significantly increased access to creative and organisational tools, online resources, and more effective approaches to feedback and assessment. It has also revolutionised remote learning and support for students with SEND and English as an Additional Language.

📢 New Approach for 2025/26 - Year 7 and New Entrants Only
We have redesigned our Technology Enhanced Learning scheme to keep costs down and ensure all students can benefit from digital learning. This new charitable donation model replaces previous schemes and makes the programme accessible and sustainable for our entire school community.
If you are an existing parent with a device on our legacy scheme (in partnership with the Digital Poverty Alliance) this will not affect you until your current scheme completes. If you are in Year 12 - there will be a separate scheme for you which will launch very soon on our Sixth Form Website here.
How It Works
As a school, we provide every student with an iPad to use to enhance their learning in school and at home. As a parent, you commit to a monthly donation to our Technology Enhanced Learning scheme for the duration of your child's study at school to support us with this plan. Your child will receive two devices over this period. At the end of Year 11, you can either hand back the device or choose to purchase it from the school for a one-off payment.
This is a Technology Enhanced Learning scheme based on charitable donations. It is not a payment plan for a device. The school remains the owner and manager of all the devices throughout. We use charitable donations to enable us to provide devices to all students to enhance their learning and access to digital technology.
We do depend on these donations to make the scheme viable, as the school cannot afford to operate it without support from our community. There is help and support available if the donation amount, frequency, or date may become difficult. Please contact donate@campden.school to discuss how we can help.

Gift Aid Example
If you pay UK tax, we can claim Gift Aid on your donation at no extra cost to you.
This extra £42 per year helps us support families who need financial assistance.
Help Others Join In
Every child deserves the same opportunities to excel. If you're in a position to give more, or can connect us with a corporate sponsor, your additional support will directly fund devices for families facing financial hardship. Together, we can ensure that every student at Chipping Campden School has the technology they need to thrive.
🤝 Support Available
We understand that circumstances vary. If you are on a low income, confidential support is available to ensure your child can fully participate in our Technology Enhanced Learning programme. Please email donate@campden.school to discuss options in confidence.
Example: Students who receive Free School Meals are automatically included in the programme at no cost to parents.
Why Your Support Matters
This programme can only succeed with strong, continuous support from our parent community. Your monthly contribution ensures every student has equal access to digital learning tools, preparing them for further education and careers in an increasingly digital world. Together, we're investing in your child's future whilst keeping costs manageable for all families.

The IT Services team are located on the first floor of the Technology block. We also have a help desk system for logging support calls. This can be accessed by emailing helpdesk@campden.school.
