We have a range of specific and focused super curricular EXCEL badges for our Key Stage 3 students in each subject area. Each department has curated a varied choice of tasks and challenges and by completing and submitting a certain number of these to the Head of Department, students earn their enamel lapel badge for that specific subject which is then awarded in assembly.

These subject badges are open to the Year 7s immediately on entry so they can channel their curiosity and passion to dig deeper in their learning and develop the very best academic habits. Students can go on to complete as many EXCEL badges as they wish to over the course of Key Stage 3. Through this programme, we are inspiring and empowering our students to become the independent learners we all desire them to become and in the process, we hope, moulding the very best employees and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
