Ken Wood

After leaving school in York I studied agriculture for three years.

I have had two careers so far, one in the military where I served in the RMP and the Parachute Regiment, and returned afterwards to agriculture where I worked with an international agrochemical company based in Lyon in France.

My association with Chipping Campden School started nearly nineteen years ago when my eldest son moved up to CCS and I joined the Parents Association, where after a short time became Chairman. I then became a Governor and was privileged to be Chair of Governors during the change over from LEA controlled to Academy Status. During this time I also became a trustee, a post to which I am very focused on helping students attain their full potential, with some help from the Trust.

Both my sons studied at CCS.
