Meeting the needs of all learners is the responsibility of all staff at Chipping Campden School. With this in mind, it is the aim of the department and the school as a whole that every child achieves their full potential in school and makes a successful transition to independent living, further education, higher education, training or work. It is our aim to maximise opportunities for all learners to progress. In order for this to happen we recognise that each learner needs to be valued and treated differently as individuals, each with their own specific talents, needs, character and contribution to make. This is achieved through a combination of supporting students directly and advising teaching staff on individual student needs, adopting appropriate pedagogy in schemes of work, differentiation, the deployment of Learning Support Mentors within the classroom and independent learning tasks. Our team of very dedicated and committed staff, take on responsibilities that enable us to assist across the curriculum to ensure that individual needs are recognised, understood and addressed to maximise learning progress for all students.
