Mission Statement

It is Chipping Campden School's mission to provide a safe, supportive and challenging learning environment that inspires and empowers young people to grasp the opportunities to develop responsibility, personal integrity, self-respect, and respect for others; that cultivates creativity and a desire to become a life-long learner; that fosters inclusion through a strong sense of heritage and community, while acknowledging diversity; and that raises aspirations in order to champion academic and personal excellence.

Our Vision:

Every student is inspired to learn and empowered to excel

Vision Statement It has been the vision of Chipping Campden School for nearly six centuries that all students embrace a transformational educational experience that will both inspire and empower them to fulfil their potential and excel.
The three main strands of our vision are developed in more detail below:

1) Inspire

Chipping Campden School is committed to enthusing all of our students to excel by cultivating a culture of high aspiration, ambition and achievement.

2) Empower

Chipping Campden School is committed to enabling all of our students to participate fully in their learning by cultivating a community dedicated to inclusion, innovation and independence.

3) Excel

Chipping Campden School is committed to ensuring that all of our students have the opportunities to fulfil their potential by cultivating a low risk high challenge learning environment which builds confidence, fosters creativity and celebrates success.

Values

The vision for Chipping Campden School is underpinned by the values of respect for self, respect for others, co-operation, empathy, tolerance, honesty, fairness, diligence and care for the environment. It is through the promotion of these values that students are able to understand and appreciate the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance.
Our values are encapsulated in the Chipping Campden Creed:

  • We believe in making the most of our opportunities and that all people should be challenged and encouraged to excel.
  • We believe in a safe, supportive and inclusive school where all people should be treated fairly, courteously and with respect.
  • We believe in a strong sense of community and that our environment should be a safe, healthy and enjoyable place in which to work, learn and achieve.
